ROBERT KOLOSOWSKI - YRDSB TRUSTEE
STATEMENT FROM ROBERT KOLOSOWSKI
Dear friends and neighbours,
On March 31st, our YRDSB school board Trustee for Richmond Hill Wards 1, 2 and 4, Crystal Yu suddenly resigned from her role.
A by-election will be taking place on July 15th, 2024 to fill the vacancy and I intend to put my name forward as a candidate.
Education has always been close to my heart and I plan to finish the work I've started to improve the YRDSB. Volunteering in schools and engaging with policy-makers has been a very fulfilling part of my life.
In the last election, I was proud to earn the support of 4,570 community members. I intend to build on that base of support and work even harder this time. Over several years, I have been actively engaged with thousands of Richmond Hill residents, including parents and educators, to discuss the priorities that residents have for our school system.
Richmond Hill residents deserve a school board trustee who will take the job seriously and put forward a clear plan for how to improve our school board. We need a trustee who will put students first.
I look forward to connecting with all of you in the coming days and hearing your ideas for how to improve education in our province.
